With performances that have been viewed more than five million times on YouTube alone, Ben Sharkey has been delighting fans worldwide with his romantic style and velvet vocals on old swing and jazz standards that would make old Blue Eyes himself green with envy. His original compositions bear his soul and tug at the listener's heart strings. Ben Sharkey's striking good looks and impassioned music makes him a creative tour de force. Although often compared to contemporaries like Michael Bublé, Ben is actually more closely comparable to Mel Torme and Harry Connick, Jr, with his intimate interpretations of jazz classics and ability to make them sound fresh and new. His elegant renditions of the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darrin (along with many others) are both powerful and personal. His original music (available on iTunes) is heartfelt and instantly catching!

Sin Hielo is a new musical project that starts with guitar giants Wayne Gerard & Sean Blackman - and often includes other accomplished guest artists -and tours the nation. The band is based in Detroit, and has created a new sound of Latin/jazz/rock.
Blackman is a powerful, acoustic nylon-string world music guitarist. Gerard is an electric guitarist jazz virtuoso. The third musician, Rick Beamon, who plays jaw-dropping percussion, is known as
one of the best in the business.
Blackman and Gerard, who head Sin Hielo, are individually successful, established, award-winning artists.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
GET TO KNOW PATO MARGETIC:
When you hear my music, you get a taste of my soul, my passions, and my values. I come from a close, multicultural family, an Argentinian-American borderland.
My music captures the desire for change, and the complexities of relationships.
I am a lover in this world. My thinking lives through creativity, music, sound, vocals, and videos. Like my colleagues, who produce, edit, film, and tell stories about experience, my music is my context.
Detroit is home for me. Against the depictions that show only crime and abandoned structures, I aspire to show the world our faces, bodies, stories, and souls. This is just a trace of who I am.
Ink Detroit Presents A Night to Benefit Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit Thursday November 1, 2012 at John D Bistro . This event is open to the public and there is a $5 suggested donation at the door, which will provide attendees with a Detroit Diehard bracelet and $1 off all drinks for the evening. Attendees will also enjoy music by Denis Celic. The Detroit Diehard bracelet was inspired by the work Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit does in the city of Detroit working with the automotive companies and creating jobs for people across the city
GET TO KNOW BETH STALKER:
Detroit native, Beth Stalker, started her professional music career at the age of four. Known as "Little Liz" she recorded and released her first full-length album entitled Jesus Loves Me.
Within a year, Beth was touring and singing on local television shows while Jesus Loves me was playing on radio stations across the United States. Beth even performed on stage with Country Music legends Roy Acuff and Porter Wagoner at the "Gospel Country USA" Music Festival in Opryland, TN.
As a child, Beth performed regularly as a "Shirley Temple" and "Annie" impersonator at Mr. F's in Clawson, Michigan. Other acts included Elvis Presley, Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers, and Neil Diamond.
Although music was always a major staple in her life, Beth stepped out of the spotlight to focus on school and growing up. At the age of 20 she was back at it and in 2005 debuted her second album, Here With You. Recorded at Big Sky in Ann Arbor and produced by David Mosher, the project was praised at the Detroit Music Awards. With a clean sweep, Beth won every award in her category, as well as the "GreatStuff Reader's Choice Award" for Favorite Artist, and "Outstanding Music Video/Limited Budget", which was produced by Emmy Award Winner, Brad Ayres. Beth left that evening with a total of 6 Detroit Music Awards for her Here With You album. She currently has a total of 7 DMA's .
Shortly after, Beth's song "Hold Me" (co-written with Allan Goetz), won the Grand Prize in "Peavey's 40th Anniversary Song Contest". A year later, Beth recorded Hallelujah I Love Him So, an album of Jazz/Blues standards with the Cliff Monear Trio.
In 2008, Beth auditioned with over 100,000 peers for American Idol and in a nation wide television spot earned her "Golden Ticket" to Hollywood. Even though the competition was intense, she successfully moved forward into the finals before saying goodbye to the mayhem of "reality" TV.
Beth Stalker's most recent project, A Reason To Smile was released in 2012. This latest EP includes 2 originals from songwriter/guitar player, Jim Rawlings, and was produced by Emmy Award Winning Ben West at Aashrum Studio.
Beth Stalker is currently working on her next album now in production.

Get to know Ben Sharkey
With performances that have been viewed more than three million times on YouTube, Ben Sharkey has been delighting fans worldwide with his romantic style and velvet vocals on old swing and jazz standards that would make old Blue Eyes himself green with envy. His elegant renditions of the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darrin (along with many others) are both powerful and personal
